User Guide – Global Production

The Global Production module within Data Entry is designed to record the farm’s milk production in a consolidated manner for a specific day, along with milk quality and prices.

Accessing the Module

From the main menu, go to Data Entry > Global Production.
A table will open with all historical records of the farm’s global production.
You can view:
- Recording date.
- Number of milking animals.
- Total production (kg of milk).
- Average per cow/day (kg).
- Unit price (kg/milk or solids).
- Percentage and kilograms of fat and protein.
- Somatic cell count (SCC) and bacterial count (BC).
- Supplement usage (kg).
- Additional observations.

Create a New Record

Clicking the + New Global Production button will open a side form:

Main Fields

Date 📅	Day on which the record is made.
Total Production (Kg of Milk) 🥛	Total amount produced during the farm’s milking.
Price per kg of Milk 💲	Price paid per kg of milk. If payment is based on solids, leave this field empty and fill in the price per kg of fat and price per kg of protein fields.
Fat (%) and Protein (%) 🧪	Percentage of dairy solids analyzed in the lab or tank meter.
Somatic and Bacterial Cells 🧫	Indicators of milk hygienic and sanitary quality.
Price per kg of Fat/Protein 💰 (optional)	Only if commercialization is based on solids.
Observations 📝	Additional notes about the milking (e.g., diet changes, tank issues, etc.).

Viewing Records

The table automatically calculates:

Milk average per cow/day = Total production ÷ number of milking cows.
Kilograms of fat/protein = Total production × percentage / 100.
Economic value of fat/protein (if applicable).
Quality indicators (SCC/BC).
Supplement used for production on that day.

Each record can be edited ✏️ or deleted 🗑️ as needed.

Practical Use

The module allows tracking the evolution of total farm production.
Facilitates comparison of quality and profitability according to industry payment prices.
Helps detect variations in milk (fat, protein, SCC) to relate them to feeding, health, or management.

Summary

Global Production provides a daily and consolidated log of the farm’s production, ensuring both productive and economic traceability.
