User Guide – Supplies in IdeasFarm

The Supplies module allows comprehensive control of all inputs used on the farm: feed, medications, reproductive products, seeds, supplements, and more. Additionally, it automatically organizes each product within its category and subcategory to link it with the corresponding cost center and reflect it in the Income Statement.


1. Supplies Overview

The main screen displays all registered products, with the following key information:

Field Description
Name and Code Unique identification of the supply.
Container and unit stock Current quantity in inventory.
Current inventory value Total dollar amount of available stock.
Category and Type Main classification of the product (e.g., Feed, Reproduction, and Health).
Last entry and exit Dates of the last recorded movements.

Functionality: From here, you can quickly view the availability and economic value of each supply.


2. Registering a New Supply

Clicking “+ New Supply” opens a form to enter a product. Main fields:

Usefulness: Ensures organized control of supplies and their direct link to production costs.


3. Bulk Data Entry

The “Bulk Data Entry” button allows you to register multiple products at once. You can upload information such as:

4. Entry and Exit History

Clicking on the product name or code opens a side window with details of all movements:

Each registered supply is automatically associated with the corresponding cost center. Examples:
